ClassyMusicSnob this is without a doubt BTBAM' most well written album. the band has always had issues editing their stuff down a bit and they've always had some bloat. while the album definitely isn't short. It showcases their absolute best songwriting and doesnt feel bloated like the other albums. I've always liked the band, however I love this album.

You get some classic Dream Theater influence, Pink Floyd, some Yes and even a touch of Rush. This is a prog metal classic. 4.5/5 Favorite track: King Redeem / Queen Serene.

levi_block Lots of good stuff on this album. Really liked the differences in sound throughout the album. Favorite track: Famine Wolf.

starsparrow A major stylistic shift for BTBAM, embracing their 70s and 80s prog rock influences. There's still plenty of metal to go around, though, and despite people's balking about it being too melodic and mainstream, I find that what the changes really bring to the band's sound is balance. Favorite track: Turn on the Darkness.
